The homeowners of a 1997 two-story craftsman in Langhorne, PA loved where they lived but felt their home needed updating, specifically the siding. They wanted to lengthen their home’s life by installing new siding and gutters.

Time for an Exterior Change
The Langhorne homeowners realized that their old siding was no longer pleasing to the eye. It wasn’t giving the look that they wanted others to see when they drove past or arrived at their home. It was time for an update.
When taking on this project, we started by meeting with the clients to understand their needs and desires. We quickly got to work bringing their vision to life.
Down to the Details: Finding the Perfect Choices
With the help of our design team, the clients chose Alside vinyl vertical siding in Glacier White. The Board and Batten style was installed over ⅜ inch fanfold insulation. The vertical siding was paired with Alside Prodigy insulated foamback vinyl siding in Ageless Slate. All corners were finished off in white for the perfect finish.
Before the siding was installed, the home was wrapped with Greenspan Greenguard raindrop house wrap. It’s better than normal house wrap in that it acts as a rain screen as it’s 3-dimensional and allows rain to drain behind the siding so it doesn’t get trapped, giving more protection to the home.
No detail was overlooked. Quality stone veneer was installed to give it more of a unique look in the front, around the entry door. Facia and Alside G8 aluminum capping in white and Alside charter oak hidden soffit brought every detail together.
Black raised panel shutters completed the look. Lastly, 5-inch K seamless aluminum gutters in white were installed to control water flow during the rainy months and keep the new siding looking great for years to come.
